I'm not the one I used to be cause i'm not used to be me I don't preach I don't teach I don't live and I don't give The grass is meant to walk upon shake the ground and dig the sun There's two sides of the coin they said but I like to be on the edge everything that I shake everything I will break The grass is meant to walk upon shake the ground and dig the sun Shake the ground Dig the sun
2.
Booming out the city of the boring without any napkins in my hand holding of the creeps in the meadow of the street I got along by doing wrong so I moved on Looking for the out-bound travelin' crazies looking for the fires in the night it's how I have to bury it's how i have to leave myself alone Trapped inside my mind of prison I travel far away within I've been too scared that people would care to keep the search alive and well for my own Now it's time to tare the walls down time to dig, time to dive there comes a time when to live or to die I have to choose or I will loose myself again Looking for the out-bound travelin' crazies looking for the fires in the night it's how I have to bury it's how i have to leave myself alone
3.
Solitude and togetherness Dancing in strobe light Holding hands Like everything is fine One's suppose to stay When the flickering goes dark and Everyone is crawling away inside But some days you'll have to leave with the skull It drips like lemonade Through the head of a stranger A gentle bow Before the night is done Coloring the sky With bloody lust and sadness That will not even dry In the sun But some days you'll have to leave with the skull
4.
Creature 06:10
A blood red sun rides in the sky you can see the loneliness in its eye once it was the brightest star until it disappeared into the dark Something gathers beyond the trees oh, creature The moon is growing larger now all the birds are heading out although they might not get that far for this is a forest, a forest with no heart Something gathers beyond the trees Plows down what it sees oh, creature The atmosphere must catch its breath this is the moment, the moment of death you can hear it rumble through you past for what it's worth, it might end fairly fast Something gathers beyond the trees This is the last one of your dreams oh, creature I know it's inside your head
5.
Something is cooking, cooking inside speaking punches, it's some kind of fight where noone loses and noone wins Bla, bla, bla A conversation can turn into war if you knock on the wrong door a rain of words come a-pouring down Bla, bla, bla After a while you starting to doubt what the hell were we talking about Bla, bla, bla A simple word contain so much more something ment something else before even when we comletely agree Bla, bla, bla Endless threats, comments of doom It's like a sandbox set on the moon Where noone hears but still the mouths move Bla, bla, bla After a while you starting to doubt what the hell were we talking about After a while you starting to doubt what the hell were we talking about Bla, bla, bla Bla, bla, bla
6.
Oh, Captain 04:45
Are you tired of the clean and fresh, the destructive repetition have you climbed so far-up inside yourself, that all you see is restriction Then let's leave this land of dead ideas, let them dry out in the dirt drink the wind and light the fuse, it's nothing wrong to burst Oh captain, sail away, take us to the ocean Set out for a different kind of life, always in motion Now is the time when it's too late to make the decision we will all sleep in the casket soon we will soon be food for the fishes With comfort and security a hole in the air you are filling but for every nail you hammer in, it's a cage that you are building It's hard to throw the rope I know but to not know is good most will never jump onboard even if they could Oh captain, sail away Take us to the ocean Set out for a different kind Of life always in motion Now is the time when it's too late to make the decision We will all sleep in the casket soon We will soon be food for the fishes Oh, captain sail away x4 Oh captain, sail away Take us to the ocean Set out for a different kind Of life always in motion Now is the time when it's too late to make the decision We will all sleep in the casket soon We will soon be food for the fishes
7.
The root to why people are evil is that people are sad there's darkness in all of us breathing there's still blood in a heart that's gone bad Actions reacts and cause friction for some it's not their own choice what's right and what's wrong is decieving for the young that don't have a voice
8.
At the end of the highway It's just what it seems an endless horizon of dead broken dreams clouds getting heavy there's a curse in the sky Winds feeling chilly on this late summer night I've stacked them so thorough I've stuck them so deep if these dreams were awake they are now put to sleep my head echoes empty and I just can't decide if it was better or not, when my brain was alive

about

If the debut album Irrevocably Human (2013) for the most part was made out of fictional stories in acoustic Americana garb with injustices and death in focus, the sequel Outbound Travelin' Crazies takes a more multi-instrument oriented and personal stand with more or less self-experienced themes - without pretending to be some kind of self-help template in the service of kitchen sink realism.

This collection of songs is sometimes a celebration of life, sometimes a glance through hopelessnes, sometimes about moving on through life, sometimes about monsters in the woods and sometimes just the most obvious and clichéd Carpe Diem bubble written.

In the end, however, it is with honest intent and creative desire that this album has been created. Carving it myself has been the point and something interesting and fun to do with time. The fact that it is now being published for public listening is of course nothing more than a hunt for attention - and that it hopefully can inspire others to create something themselves.
